Exploring the Future of Biotech: Hosting Biotech Boot Camp with Maryland MEP Program
Yesterday was an exciting day as we welcomed a group of students to our Precision facility for our 5th Biotech Boot Camp. This initiative, which we've proudly sponsored, aims to ignite passion and curiosity in the biotech field among the next generation of innovators.
Biotech Boot Camp is a free, 4-week, training program designed to help jobseekers gain the fundamental skills necessary to enter Frederick’s growing biotech industry. The program is intended for both first-time and experienced workers looking for a new career pathway. Following the successful completion of the course, program participants will be guaranteed an interview with local/regional biotech companies.
Our Site Head, Kurt Langenbach, along with our dedicated Talent Acquisition Team, guided the students through engaging company presentations and a detailed tour of our state-of-the-art facility. It was a fantastic opportunity for these young minds to witness firsthand the cutting-edge work we’re doing and to explore the myriad career paths within biotech.
