What is Meso Scale Discovery?
The MSD technology is a method that works on the same principle as ELISA assays but relies on eletrochemiluminescent (ECL) signals as a detection method.
This gives MSD platform several advantages over traditional ELISA:
- Flexible multiplexing: up to 10 analytes
- Wider dynamic range
- Higher sensitivity
- Lower sample volume
- Less matrix interference
